Natural Habitat

So other than the desert... this is where cactus can live! If you look on the right side of the picture, those are real life cacti. I still can't believe it. Didn't really go to Spain expecting that. Palm trees - yes, Cactus - no.
This is also that Chinese lane that I was talking about the other day... It goes up the hill and around the Alhambra. Quite a nice view from up here.

The soil is so particular, did you notice? Rich in clay, perfect for olives (and cacti ;))

Lovely patios andaluces, too. Were you invited by a local to admire his/her beautiful patio andalúz? They do it all the time, it's their pride and joy, you know.
